Tribe Workouts

We create continuous improvement through movement, mindset, community and connection. We let music and highly skilled instructors guide you through low- and high-tempo yoga and Pilates workouts.

People form tribes; they always have, and they always will. Let’s find yours!

Styles of yoga and Pilates are paired with different genres of music to tick off cardio, strength, flexibility, and meditation for a good reboot. We also offer sessions for the whole family.

Heart Health

Yoga poses stretch your muscles and increase your range of motion. It lowers blood pressure and slows the heart rate, which promotes healthy heart function. The twisting poses are known to flush the lymphatic system, wringing out toxins and stimulating gland function.

Yoga is not a passive exercise. Each pose targets a group of muscles and even the simplest poses done properly tone muscles in the upper and lower body.

Poses held for several breaths create a deep connection to the muscle tissue, encouraging it to relax and stretch. It’s understood that many people notice a 35 percent increase in their flexibility after just eight weeks of regular yoga and Pilates.

Yoga and Pilates each have meditative aspects, which promote relaxation, decreased stress levels and improved emotional and mental wellbeing through mindfulness.

“We originally started by offering yoga and Pilates as part of our cycling studios’ offering, but when it took off, we knew we needed a space dedicated to the disciplines. Globally we are seeing the trends move towards fast, hard and quick exercise regimes, which is all great, but we need to ensure we balance that with the slow, purposeful and important strength and conditioning yoga and Pilates classes offer, both for mind and body. I personally have gone from a career in rugby league and mixed martial arts in which explosive action is everything; I now need to do yoga and Pilates every week, for core strength, mobility and flexibility, as well the much-needed meditative relaxation classes.”

“Being a busy mother and partner, I found I was turning to yoga for ‘me time’ – 45 to 60 minutes every week meant I was refreshed and recharged for family time. Just as important, I know I’m working on my functional mobility and strength so I can keep up with the kids as they grow. I’m so pleased we can offer Tribe and the skills of our amazing instructors to other mothers and fathers who are no doubt juggling a million things and just need a moment to themselves, during which their own mental and physical wellbeing is a priority.”
